Hey there. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Flames of the Citadel is on its way. One more week until it is back from the super awesome editor. It will probably take me another week to apply all the edits (if they aren't that bad).
After that, we will do a little interior design and that will be that.
There is a lot that goes into self-publishing a book. A year ago I would have told you that the hard part was writing it. That is not at all the case. Writing is the fun part.
Editing, cover design, interior design, reviews, more editing, and Amazon reqs are all way harder than writing the damn thing.
Don't get me wrong, it is all rewarding in its own way. I wouldn't change the process either. The harder I work at it, the better the product will be.
Either way. My original release date of fall is screwed. That's ok. My hopes of releasing in 2016 are desperate and ambitious, but we will see what happens.
